Alex Schacter was one of the 17 students killed during the tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL. Since 2018, Max Schacter has worked tirelessly to improve school safety since his son’s death. He has a number of initiatives intended to help school districts and personnel be better prepared to cope with threats and ensure a safer environment for learning.
